Meals will be Available to Children 18 and Under
New Site -->Miramonte School

The Mountain View School District is committed to serving nutritious meals to our students during the unanticipated closures and distance learning.

The Nutrition Services Department will continue to provide for families to drive through or walk up and pick up meals for Children 18 and Under.

In our effort to minimize the amount of time our families spend picking up meals, and in order to further protect our valued employees, we will continue providing five breakfast and lunch meals per child, once a week, on Mondays only, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our Mountain View children.

To ensure all MVSD students have access, you will be asked to provide your child’s student identification (ID) number.  We hope this helps us meet the goals of providing food for the children of our District and giving you back more time to spend at home with distance learning.

Meals will be distributed at:

❖ Cogswell School    11050 Fineview Street, El Monte
❖ Kranz School    12460 Fineview Street, El Monte
❖ Madrid School    3300 Gilman Road, El Monte
❖ Payne School    2850 N. Mountain View Road, El Monte
❖ Twin Lakes School    3900 Gilman Road, El Monte

Dear district community member,

With growing concerns regarding COVID-19, we know this is a time of great uncertainty for all of us and our communities. We're here to support you as you navigate access to community-based mental health services. You may take full advantage of the tele-health and virtual therapy resources made available through our partner Care Solace.

As you navigate access to community-based mental health services during this time of great uncertainty, we wanted to remind you that Mountain View School District has partnered with Care Solace.

Care Solace is uniquely equipped as a virtual mental health support resource. Their proprietary web-based tool makes it easy to connect with vetted mental healthcare resources and providers in the community.

The Care Solace operations are running as usual and are available to help our community. If you or a family member is experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, or other mental health conditions triggered by the current pandemic, we encourage you to utilize their free services to help access vetted mental health care resources.

Those in need of support may contact Care Solace 24/7 at 888-515-0595, email weserve@caresolace.org, or access our district’s unique page: Caresolace.com/mtviewfamilies

Care Solace has online and virtual therapy resources for you to utilize to reduce your exposure to COVID-19.

As the impacts of COVID-19 evolve, we will continue to monitor this dynamic situation and share updates as they become necessary.

We wish you good health and peace during this stressful time.
