Raymond Andry, Ed.D.
Dear MVSD Families,
As the holiday season approaches, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to every parent, family, and community member for your ongoing partnership and support throughout the past year. Together with our incredible staff, you play a vital role in making Mountain View School District a place where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year brought many reasons to celebrate our students’ accomplishments, the spirit of teamwork in school communities, and the continued dedication of our teachers, staff and families. From KCAL 9 filming a Class Act segment across our schools to the dedication of our MVSD Run Clubs as they completed the 40th L.A. Marathon, the perseverance and teamwork demonstrated by our Aquatic Robotics SeaPerch teams, and the inspiring work taking place across our in-class, Max Learning, STEAM and GATE programs, these accomplishments reflect your shared commitment to student growth.
In addition, we proudly marked the first anniversary of our MVSD Walk-Up Food Pantry, and thanks to our various community collaborations and staff, each school will be equipped to launch its own campus pantry in the new year to further support families. Key partnerships with our City and County partners and others made it possible to support families this year with food and resources. We were also incredibly proud to continue strong community partnerships that expanded opportunities and care for our students and families, including our partnership with the Mexican American Bar Association (MABA), which allowed us to support our families and the greater community through two immigration law clinics and Tzu Chi, which made access to dental services possible at each school site thanks to our community schools initiative.
I am grateful for the trust you place in us every day. It is a privilege to partner with you as we guide the children and youth of our community through discovery, growth, and success.
As we enter the holiday break, I wish your family rest, joy, and wellness. May you find time to relax, connect with those you love, and recharge for the year ahead. If you need information about District Office availability during the break, please visit our website for updated hours and support resources.

Kindly,
Raymond Andry, Ed.D.
